3rd Annual Bulldog Raffle
Friday, November 18 ~ 5:30 p.m.
Highland Middle School Pups Plaza
This will be fun event for all families to attend. The
highlight of the night will be the raffling of large themed baskets
created by all the classrooms at Highland Primary and Highland
Elementary. Many other baskets donated by various departments
and organizations within the Highland School District will be
featured also. Delicious treats and pizza by the slice will
also be available that evening. Doors
will open at the Highland Middle School Pups Plaza at 5:30 pm on
Friday, November 18. At 8:30 pm, the first winning tickets
will be pulled and the winners announced. Families are
encouraged to spend the evening looking at the wonderful baskets,
eating yummy goodies, and visiting with other families while waiting
for the winners to be announced. However, you do not need to
be present to win. We will record your name and telephone
number when you purchase tickets, and you will be called if you are
a basket winner. You can then return to claim your basket.
Tickets - Tickets will be sold in sheets of 26 tickets for
$3.00/sheet and will be available the night of the raffle. OR, we
will be doing a presale
of 4 sheets for $10.00!!
Bake Sale - If you have a cookie, brownie, or dessert
recipe that everyone is always raving about, we have a great place
to showcase your goodies! We will be selling small single
serving dessert items for you to enjoy while deciding which baskets
you want to bid on. If baking is how you love to help, be
looking for the volunteer flyer to be coming home soon.
Help - We will need help in wrapping the baskets and
transporting them. We will also need help on the day of
the event. Please contact Beth
Guse if you would be able to assist us.
Box Tops
We are happy to announce the start of a new Box Tops Program for
both Primary and Elementary schools. You can earn cash for your
child’s school by clipping Box Tops coupons from hundreds of
participating products. Here’s how the program works. Students
bring all your Box Tops to your class! There are 6 levels of prizes.
Each class will receive the indicated prize when they bring in that
amount of Box Tops. The more Box Tops a class brings in, the more
prizes awarded. The program starts September 6th 2011 and we will
collect through the end of March. Prizes are awarded as each goal is
reached. This is an accumulative based program, so every class can
ultimately earn 6 prizes!
