The PTO Grant Committee typically funds requests totaling approximately $5,000 annually. Grants are awarded twice during the school year. The committee's mission is to help fund educational resources that will directly enhance the quality of education for our children. The grants were awarded for academic resource materials requested by teachers from the Primary, Elementary, Middle School and Highland High School. The Grant Committee receives requests from teachers for educational classroom needs that aren't covered by building activity funds or other funds. This allows teachers to ask for specific needs that they have throughout the year. The funding for the committee comes from the PTO general fund. Disbursements are made twice a year, typically October and February. Application forms are available in school offices.
